Cooper Update

Last weekend, the kids made gingerbread houses. Emily spent a lot of time on the details. This is a picture of Cooper the next morning sneaking up on it and eating all of the candy off it. He thought he was really cool.

JThis is a video of the kids playing with the Alexa that Daddy borrowed from work. Cooper wanted to listen to "Frosty the snowman" and he knows the first words of the song.

This is a video of a normal night at the house where the kids are playing "cho-chos" with Cooper.

Cooper thinks he is a big kid now so the kids pretend to go to sleep before he will go to bed. This is a picture of them in Emily's bed.
The past two weeks have been a little rough with Cooper and Bo being sick. Then Cooper also figured out how to climb out of his bed. He refuses to stay in it so we had to get a tent. Just like his big brother Bo, we have to zip him up in it.

Cutting down our own Christmas Tree

This year we decided to make a trek to Eckert's farm to cut down our own tree. The kids were excited.

Cooper just wanted to take pictures. "cheese"
After we picked one out, Bo started cutting it down.
This is it before cutting it.
And afterwards

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving. Emily helped decorate the table and arrange the seating. She was very proud of herself.
Bo and Emily made their own craft turkey for the "kids" table. Bo is getting ready to cut it.
It was filled with popcorn.
The three kids were showing off their Turkey shirts that Mommy made for them.

Turkey trot

Bo and Emily ran the kids fun run at the Chesterfield Turkey Trot this morning. They both finished the race without stopping so we are very proud of them. Emily was a little shy at the beginning and cold & tired towards the end but she finished.

Emily's 6th birthday party

For Emily's 6th birthday, she wanted her party at Chuck-E-Cheese. We invited her cousins and all her classmates at school.

The boys loved their unlimited game play and spent most of the time at this game.
This is a picture of Emily holding some of her tickets.
Cooper loved the rides too.

This is Emily getting ready for the ticket blaster. There are ton of tickets in there and one that is worth 1,000 tickets. She is suppose to grab as many as she can before time runs out.
Here is a clip of it.
I can't believe she is turning 6. This is her My Little Pony cake.
For our 2nd dessert, Emily wanted smores.

Cooper's first trip to the movie theater

On Saturday morning, Cooper went to his first movie at the theater. I'm not sure he knew what was going on but was very exciting because Bo & Emily went with him. He also had some popcorn and candy. It was a movie about Mickey Mouse racing. He did really well sitting in his seat for the first half of it. Then they had a song & dance half way through which encouraged the kids to stand up. After he danced, he didn't sit back down. He had fun though being a big kid.

Bo's last soccer game - scored 2 goals for a bet

For Bo's last game, we made a bet. If Bo scored a goal, then we could go get ice cream after the game. So of course, he asked what if I scored 2 goals. I agreed to take him to the movie theater. He then asked what happens if I score 3 goals or 4 or 5. The kids agree if he scored 3 or more that he would get a toy and all the other prizes. I agreed to this if he would pay me $10 if he didn't score any goals.

As you can guess, this really motivated Bo and he came out hustling all over the field.

Then right after halftime, he stole the ball at half line and dribbled all the way down the field to score a goal. He was very excited.
Then about five minutes later, he scored a second goal about the exact same way.
Of course, he told everyone about the bet so we are very proud of Bo for doing so well. Now we hope he can continue it next season.

Emily's last soccer game

Last weekend, Emily had her last outdoor soccer game.

And we had a jumping in the leaves party afterwards.

Soccer - Emily & Bo score a goal on the same day

Last week, the kids played at the same time. I was running back and forth between games and within about 10mins both kids scored a goal.

Cooper was eating a snack and yelling "Go Bo!!"
Then he scored a goal at half time.
