School picture day

Today is school picture day. We had to take an extra photo with Cooper in it. I love how he has his hands in his pocket.

Bo is selling comics

Came up the stairs last night to go to bed and Bo had laid these all out at the top of the steps. There was a sign on the wall that said Comics for sale $5. He was asleep in his bed so I left him $5.

Solar Eclipse 2017

Bo's first soccer game

Bo had his first soccer game last weekend. Guess who ran on the field as soon as the game was over to dribble and kick it.

Six Flags

This summer we also took Cooper to Six Flags for the first time. Here is a video of him riding on the "big kid" ride. Needless to say, he was not scared to go on any ride. He would have went on all the roller coasters if the "Mister" wouldn't have said no for being too short. A couple we had to carry him out kicking and screaming.

Kansas City Train ride

The first week of August, we took a weekend train ride to Kansas City. Cooper was very excited to ride the train for the first time. When we got there, we stayed in the ho-tel of course. We went to Lego Discovery Center, saw some train exhibits, and visited the aquarium.

Lego Robotics

This summer Bo & Emily both took a robotics class at Maryville University. Bo had a partner with his and they made a tarantula out of legos that moved and crushed an entire city. Bo has also received a set at home that he has been building creative things with Wedo 2.0

Emily learned Wedo 1.0 and built a lot of animals. The one pictured below is two ducks who spin around in a circle and make duck noises.

Baby Parker

In July, the kids were happy to meet their brand new cousin, Baby Parker. As you can see Cooper wasn't too sure what to think about him. Bo was the only one brave enough to hold him.
