The last weekend in August we had a little bit of a scare with Cooper. We left him alone for a few minutes and the next thing we know we heard a big bang by the stairs. It turns out that the little guy was climbing up the outside of the banister, he got about half way up, and fell off.
He wouldn't stop crying and also wouldn't let me touch his arm so I suspected he broke his wrist or something else on his arm. We took him to Children's Hospital. On the way to the hospital he settled down a little and actually dosed off for a short time. Of course when we arrived he was acting more like his normal self and not favoring his arm.
We were at the ER for a few hours as they wanted to check his head because he fell from such a high distance. Since he never lost consciousness and didn't throw up or anything, they told us to just keep an eye on him.
This is what he was like in the room waiting for the doctor to come see him.
After a stress-filled morning, Cooper fell asleep on the way home from the hospital.
