5 months old

On Monday, I turned 5 months old. I am eating 3 meals a-day now, Orange Veggie (Squash, Sweet Potato, or carrots) in the morning, Green Veggies (green beans or peas) in the afternoon, and then rice cereal before bedtime. Of course, Mommy is still breast feeding me too 6-8times a day as well.
I have my 2 front teeth in full and starting to feel others coming in all over my mouth. It does not feel good if you were wondering. The annoying pain interrupts my sleep at night a lot lately but I'm toughing through it with Mommy & Daddy's help.
It is starting to get cold here in STL so I bundle up a lot. I like to kick off my socks & shoes so my feet always seem to be cold or my parents are wrapping a blanket around me.
Halloween is coming up so I'll write more later...gotta go explore.

Busy Weekend...

I just wanted to tell everyone that I had a busy weekend. I stayed at my Grammy Woodworth's on Friday during the day. Here is a cute picture of me grinning

I celebrated my great-grandma's 89th birthday.

I stayed at Grandma and Grandpa Woodworth's in St. Chuck on Saturday. Here is a picture of me "at the aquarium" (blue screen)

Then on Sunday I went with my family to the pumpkin patch. Here are a few pictures of the fun

My first tooth

My first tooth came in last week. It was very painful. Mommy and Daddy were wondering why I was crying so much. Here is a picture of my Mommy trying to look at my new tooth. Instead I was just giggling.

Here you can see my one tooth that has pushed all the way through my gum. This is from last week. This past weekend I discovered my 2nd one is coming in as well. Everyone tells me it is early to have teeth already but hey they just came in. I didn't tell them to do that.

Here is my silly Daddy imitating me "swimming" on the floor. I just can't figure out how to crawl so I just kick and kick with my arms out like this. Look out though because I'm getting close.

First Cards game

Last Saturday, Mommy and Daddy took me to my first Cards game. It was a little chilly out but luckily it was a day game so the sun was out. The Cards had already wrapped up a playoff birth so the game didn't mean too much but I had fun. It meant I was able to skip my afternoon nap. Mommy is really trying hard to get and keep me on a schedule before she goes back to work but I like to stay up and play too much. I also like to be rocked to sleep.
One funny thing happened at the game was I decided to have a big bowel movement. I mean it was everywhere. Luckily they have a family bathroom where Mommy and Daddy could clean me up and change all of my clothes. I think I did it on purpose to trick Mommy into buying me a new outfit from the Team store but mean Daddy put a stop to that. There were only 2 innings left so I had to wear normal clothes and be wrapped in a blanket to stay warm.
All in all it was a great day so thanks to Mommy and Daddy. I can't wait for the World Series!!

4 months old

Last weekend I turned 4 months old. It was actually the same day as Grandpa Woodworth's birthday. Here is a picture.

Mommy and Daddy also took me to my doctor for my 4-month old check-up. Yes, they gave me another shot and I was not very happy about that. I am in the 50 percentile for weight (14lbs 12ounces), 90% for length/height (26.5inches), and 90% for head circumference. I demonstrated great control of my head and really don't favor my left side over my right anymore. I still have to go to my therapist one more time next week.

The good news is the doctor gave me permission to eat some real food so each week Mommy and Daddy are going to feed me something new. This week is rice cereal for dinner. Then next week I'll get to eat "orange" veggies (squash, sweet potatoes, or carrots) for breakfast along with my cereal for dinner still. Then the third week I will eat "Greens" for lunch along with everything else. Here are a couple of good pics of me enjoying my cereal. I'm still trying to get the hang of the new taste, texture, and ability to swallow. Daddy says that each day I'm getting a little bit better.

The only thing I didn't like about my visit to the doctor was her saying that I needed to learn how to fall asleep on my own. But I like to be rocked to sleep or fall asleep breastfeeding. Why can't I keep doing that forever??????? Look how cute I look when I sleep.
