Bo's last swim meet for the summer

For the last meet of the year, the swim club had a pep rally the day before. Bo was very proud of the poster he made so we took a picture of it before the meet. It says " I love to swim"

The biggest fan was there and climbed on the playground.

It was hot that day so you can see Cooper was fading but the other two were excied to go to lunch since Bo did a good job.

A few days later, they had a party for the swim team and handed out a sheet with all his times. It is sorted by time with the fastest time at the top. He did the same events at every meet: 25m FreeStyle, 100m freeStyle relay (which they didn't record split times on the sheet), and 25m backstroke.

This is Bo opening his packet with all his ribbons. It was full.

Then this was the special award he received called the "5 second award" which you get if you cut 5secs off your time from the start of the summer to the end.

Emily's ear pierced

Today, Emily took her American girl doll to the store to have lunch and tea. They were going to have their hair done but instead decided to go into the mall and get Emily's ear pierced.

She said it hurt a lot but she was brave and then remembered to clean them before she went to bed. She is very proud of them.

Also Cooper climbed on the big boy swing by himself.

Rainy weekend at the Lake of the Ozarks

It was a rainy weekend at the lake of the Ozarks but that didn't stop the kids from getting on Papa's boat.

Cooper just wanted to go "vroom, vroom"

That is until it started going then he just wanted off.

Since it was raining so much, we just had to swim off the dock. Cooper saw Bo jumping in over and over so he wanted to do the same.

We were attempting to fish but Cooper wanted to eat all the bait (turkey and cheese) so he was happy to get his own bag of crackers.

Emily had her pole in the water for about 30 seconds and caught something. She was so excited that she dropped her pole . She was dancing and jumping up and down.
