Bo's second soccer practice & game

Bo and Will (Team Purple) had their second practice and scrimmage this past weekend. Here is Bo and Will warming on their own.
Bo was really thirsty playing. This may be his favorite part of practice.
This is a shot of his team waiting for instruction from their trainer (the dude with the hat on).

Also, a video of them practicing dribbling around, stepping on the ball and turning the other direction. Then at the end he asks them to leave their ball and find another one. Naturally, most of the kids run to the sidelines to grab a ball from the bag instead of just switching with another kid which the trainer intended.

This is the girls watching the game. Emmy drawing/coloring with her princess markers and eating her candy that Grandpa gave her last week.

Here is a video of Bo practicing his turn again. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7_UGxdp5M7M

This video is a game they were playing to see who could gather the most blueberries from the pack and put them in their net. Bo was real competitive in this one and you can hear him say "they got zero and we have a hundred" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fKrttf-WFPY

This is a picture of Bo going through one of the drills. He had to dribble/slalom through the cones and then put it in the net.
This is during the game. The blue team is scoring a goal at the other end with all the other players around the net. Meanwhile Bo is wandering at the other end of the field. The good news is he is on the field. For some reason, Bo and Will volunteered to start out on the bench. Then whenever the coach asked who was tired or ready to rest they both ran to the sidelines. I'm not sure if it is they wanted to play with each other just the two of them or play in the net of the big goal. Mommy had to intervene after a while because the coach told them to go in and Bo said "No, thanks" and just sat there on the sidelines. Bo did well during practice doing the drills and trying to put a "cheetah" (really fast) but for some reason wasn't too motivated to play the scrimmage.

This is a video of Bo and Will teaming up to score a goal. They both did well dribbling (maybe went out of bounds a little) and each had a chance but missed or were blocked. Then Will got it one more time and shoved it in there for a goal. Will was very aggressive this game and scored at least two goals if not a third.
I guess this shows you how well they can do when they want to play. I guess that's a 4year old for ya.

Bo Star Wars training at Hollywood studios

While we were at Hollywood Studios, we signed Bo up for Jedi training. This is him in his robe waiting for the trainer to show up. I like his face when the Star Wars music starts.

After on stage, he was given his lightsaber by the instructor.

Then they practice how to hold it and where to strike with it.

After they learned all the positions and where to strike the opponent, they were interrupted by Darth Vadar. As you can see from the video, Bo was a little intimidated by the big guy. They pulled him off the stage. The young jedis who stayed were able to fight against Darth and then they received a certificate. After Bo saw what was happening and as they scared Darth away, he wanted to go back up there to get his certificate. They wouldn't let him so he was very heart broken. He asked me if I could teach him the rest of the way so he could still become a Jedi and receive his certificate. Luckily after everyone cleared out, the trainer came down and gave him his certificate anyways. This made his day. Then Bo and Daddy rode the Star Wars ride like 3 times in a row since there wasn't a line. And someone bought him his own lightsaber to take home.

Bo's first soccer practice on the "Purple" Shrimp team

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJ99pdYriXU

This is video of Bo practicing dribbling through the gate and towards the goal. His best buddy Will is on his team. They play every Saturday morning now with about 30mins of practice and then 30mins scrimmage against another team.
