Well, this weekend I earned a new nickname from mommy and daddy "monster". That's right! I am into everything. I do not like to sit still at all, unless you have something sweet to feed me! I crawl every where. I am pretty much unstoppable. If something is in my way, no worries I will climb over it or figure out a way to get through it. I pull up on everything. My new favorite thing is cabinet doors. I haven't quite perfected them - twice today I smashed my finger.
Tonight I decided I didn't want to eat baby food anymore. It only took me screaming 3 times before daddy realized I wasn't eating anything unless it came from his plate. I am a big boy now! No more of those smashed peas...pass on the mac n cheese!
Mommy had a great day today because she was off work. We spent the whole day playing and reading books. I kept laughing at the animal book. Those animals make some silly sounds. Ma-ma teased that she was going to get me a dog. Mommy said she better not! I don't need any pets because my babysitter and two grandma's have a dog. Oh, and mommy has a fish in her classroom that she brings home to visit me. So, we have plenty of animals!
I am approaching nine months. Mommy and daddy keep telling me "So big". I love it when they do that. I make my hands really big and clap. Clapping is one of my new favorite games! Oh, and chase. I love making my daddy crawl around on the floor and chase me. It is so funny because daddy is slow - he always tries to blame his slow pace on his knee but he is just old.
Okay, I am off to bed. I need to get some good sleep so I can grow big and strong.....
