Quarantine week 7 & 8

Emily wrote a thank you letter to the essential workers which was Amazon driver in this case.

Peanut Butter loved playing outside while we did some yard work.

Our four kids.

Bo is actually taking golf lessons again and this time Cooper wanted to go with us so here he is at the driving range.

The boys found a tree to climb while being bored outside. It is a neighbor's tree. You can faintly see Cooper in green at the very top. He is crazy and fearless.

Emily has been making squishies as she calls them. This is her collection of candy bars.

This is the new norm every night with Peanut falling asleep in the living room with Emily snuggling next to her.

Peanut Butter is home

On Wednesday 3/29, Daddy, Bo and Emily woke at 6am to drive to Burlington Iowa to pick up Peanut Butter. It is a three hour drive one way. Given the quarantine state we are in, I really didn’t want to stop anywhere so filled up gas by our house and left. We arrived right at 9am with Bo and Emily anxiously resting and reading their book in the back.

They were all very excited and nervous at the same time. Peanut basically slept on their laps the whole ride back. We made a brief stop in Hannibal for potty break and made it home by 1230. Cooper was waiting.

They were fighting over who got to play with him.

Cooper doesn’t like it when Peanut cries when Peanut is put in his crate to nap or sleep so he sneaks in there with Peanut to pet him until he falls asleep.

So far Sleeping in the crate he been going well and we are still working on the potty training and playing nicely. We are going for walks.
