Chesterfield House

Ok, baby woodster. We went looking at houses in Chesterfield for you this morning. We found one that I liked and one that mommy liked. We are going to talk to our agent about potential. Of course, the one Mommy liked is the one we will probably go for. It is a really nice house and we saw a baby's room for you.
After driving in the car all morning, stopping and going, mommy wasn't feeling that great so she laid down for awhile. I took a picture with my new phone.

starting to show

Ok Baby Woodster, you are starting to show a little. This is making mommy very sad but like I tell your mom this is a good thing and is natural. This makes Daddy very excited because we can actually see the evidence of you.
Hopefully, your mom doesn't injure me for posting the pictures.

STILL house looking

Well baby woodster, we are still looking for your new home. The Des Peres offer was temporarily not accepted so that means Mommy needs to find another option. The sellers are having trouble finding a new house so they didn't want to accept our offer. There is still a chance they might find one and come back to us but I won't count on that.
There are a lot of houses out there but we need to find one that is in the bestest school district for you so you get real smart, get a great job, make a lot of money so daddy can finally quit working. Don't worry we are in no hurry. We'll find the right place and decorate your room before your first cry. Until then keep growing.

Sophie's first letter

Dear Momo,
I want an Elmo live for Christmas. Mommy can play him and I can listen while in her belly. Then when I am born I can play with him. He is really cute and funny. I think he may be too little for my cousins - so just me! Please tell santa to put him under the tree for me! Oh, and tell my dad to get some money and buy me a house! I have heard of sharing a room with a sibling but not two cousins and aunt!!!

Thanks,
Baby Woody (aka Sophie)

November 3, 2008

Daddy just set mommy up to type on this blog. Mommy is SO excited daddy FINALLY made a blog. Daddy must really love you! Mommy begged daddy for MONTHS to set one up for the big wedding we had. Daddy wasn't really into that....he thinks weddings are too expensive and over priced. No worries bc by the time you walk down the aisle I will be controlling all of daddy's money. So, your wedding will be priceless!!!

Today is the day after elections. Last night Barak Obama was elected president. Mommy is not really found of him. He has too many promises - makes me thing of a typical man. Tells you he will give you the world then you find out he lives in his parents basement and has no job! Maybe he will have all the worlds problems solved by the time you are born in June?

Anyway, mommy is super excited that you are growing in her belly. Is is really neat seeing your picture on the machine at the doctor's office. I think you are going to be a girl but we aren't sure. I do know that you must be a picky eater! You don't tend to like the foods I eat and therefore you help mommy spit them out -- this does happen frequently!

Well, mommy just looked at the clock and has to get too work. Yes, daddy still makes mommy work! I know it is dreadful but hopefully we won't have to do the whole work thing when you come!!!

Love you lots and keep getting bigger,

Momma

baby woodster

you are now 9 weeks old. Mommy and I went to the doctor today and saw you again in mommy's belly. We could see your head, body, and little heart beating really fast. It was really neat. The doctor said Mommy can start slowly easing back into exercising. This will make Mommy start to feel better. The doctor also said Mommy will feel sick for about 3 more weeks. She did prescribe some medicine for her to help her feel better. Hopefully, this works. The next appointment is in 4 weeks. Everything is proceeding nicely.

After seeing the doctor, we went and looked at our future house (possibly). It is in Des Peres and in Kirkwood school district. We will talk to the agent tomorrow to look into some of the details.

Hello World

Yesterday, Mommy and Daddy went to Macy's and finished off our wedding registry. We bought lots of things for our new house and lots of kitchen things Mommy can use to make us good things to eat.
They practically gave us things with 15% discount, 10% off if you use your Macy's card, and $10 in Macy's money for every $50 you spend at retail. Needless to say Mommy was in heaven and for the first time Daddy let her buy whatever she wanted.

We can't wait to see you. I know Mommy is having a rough time the past 4 weeks. I was proud of her today for going out to eat for lunch. She ate her typical greasy food and found a new drink she liked, Strawberry Lemonade.

Today is daylight savings time so we get an extra hour to sleep in. The Rams play the Cardinals today so it should be fun.
