Churchill Downs

We visited Churchill Downs. There were not any horse races going on at the time but we did get to walk around and see the track. The kids favorite part was placing bets on the simulation screen on old Derby races.

Holiday World

On our way to Louisville, we decided to take a stop at Holliday World in Santa Claus, IN. We did the amusement park in the morning and the water park in the afternoon. The kids really liked the water park with a ton of slides even ones Cooper could go on but I didn't get any pictures.

 Bo was too afraid to ride any of the roller coasters but guess who was not. Bo filmed Emily going on the fast wooden one.

Cooper swallows a penny (June 20th)

On June 20th, I received a call that Cooper had swallowed a coin and it was stuck in his esophagus. The x-ray shows where it was stuck. Since it didn't make its way down to his stomach, they recommended going to Children's hospital so they can knock him out and remove it. It was a quick procedure.

 After the anesthesia wore off, he was hungry. He at french fries and chicken and drank his sprite.
