Spring Sing - Cowboy Theme

Bo's preschool had its end of the year Spring Sing held this week. It was a cowboy theme so Bo and Will were very excited. They both had to wear their Woody cowboy boots and hats. Here is a picture of them on the stage before the big show.

Easter 2012

and then Emmy's arrival. I think she got everything she wanted too but it was a lot simpler just chocolate. She was so anxious to shove as much in her mouth as possible that she ate through the wrappers.

Kids flying kites with Grandpa and Grandma

On Palm Sunday, we went out to Marthasville to celebrate Easter. We had a late lunch and hunted for Easter eggs

However, the highlight of the trip in Bo's mind was flying kites. He absolutely loved it. The weather and wind was perfect. I think we may have to work on technique a little bit (like holding on to the string and not running down hill to block the wind) so we apologize for losing them in the trees.

Kids visit City Garden downtown St. Louis

Aunt Beth was in town for a dance so the kids all met her downtown for lunch. After lunch, we walked over to the City Garden. Since it was a nice day outside, the fountains were going and the kids had a blast.

Tangled & Disney on Ice

Last month, Grammie and Daddy took the kids to see Disney on Ice featuring Tangled. Of course the kids were excited to see Mickey and Minnie. When we arrived at Scottrade, it was very crowded and there were a lot of princess themed activities. Needless to say, Bo and I were very much outnumbered. After grabbing some popcorn and drinks we headed to our seats. We walked in right after it started and we could hear the music. Immediately, Emmy's right arm starting bouncing up and down in a dance movement. She was very excited.

Emmy sat on my lap the entire show and after about 20mins she passed out as you can see below. Bo sat in his chair sucking the on the snow cone, eating popcorn, and watched the whole time. Emmy woke up for the last 15mins and didn't miss a beat. They both loved seeing the Tangled characters and of course Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy.

After the show, we went to eat pizza. That is everyone's favorite.

And then of course played games. I think both kids fell asleep on the way home so I would say the day was a success.

A sticky tape fort/mess
