Bo & Will go see Elmo Live

Thanks to Pepsi, we were able to take Bo & Will to see Elmo. Here are the BFFs (Best Friend's Forever) before the show starts with the stage in the background.

Also, at the souvenir stand

We were lucky to be in the box at the Savvis Center because there was plenty of room to wander around. The boys did not have to be stuck in their chairs the whole time. They also had some pretzels, chips, and nuts to snack on.

Bo sang along a little bit but the boys were mostly interested in climbing on the chairs and stuff.

Of course, you can't leave the show without taking an Elmo balloon home with you.

Happy Birthday Mommy

Mommy's Birthday weekend (sorry it was only a weekend this year and not the whole month) started off with a day trip to the Mall. It was suppose to be lunch with Daddy but he had to stay at work. Bo missed his nap as he played at the mall and waited to go to Grammie's house for the night. This was the first time he has ever fell asleep in a stroller. He hates the stroller and even more he hates going shopping. He might get that genetically from his father. I think I see a lot of boys watching sports and girls going to the mall in this family's future.
Poor little guy was exhausted.

For Friday night, Mommy's friends arranged a night out for dinner. We went to a local Mexican restaurant for happy hour margaritas. Of course, Mommy ordered a Pomegranate Martini though. We stayed out late since both kids were away. This was the first night away from Miss Emily. Mommy was very sad but I think had a good time any ways. After shutting down the bar, Mommy & Daddy headed to the Ameristar casino and hotel for a famous Cordia "stay-cation". Ma-Ma & Pa-Pa were still there playing their favorite machines. Mommy won some blackjack so she was happy.

After some much needed sleep in the hotel, everyone met for lunch in the Sports Bar. Bo & Emily surprised Mommy with a St. Louis famous McArthur's Cake.

Bo was very happy because he was able to sing his favorite song "Happy To Ya" or his version of Happy Birthday. He has even learned to blow the candle out.

After lunch, Mommy went for a massage. Daddy, Bo, & Emily went swimming. Miss Emily just took a cat nap on the side while Bo mostly stayed in the hot tub. I have to admit it felt pretty good. The regular pool was a little cold but tolerable. Bo wore his shark wings so he was enjoying floating on his own until he flipped to his back.

Happy Birthday Mommy. I know it wasn't Hawaii or any place warm for that matter but I hope you had a great time any ways.

Bo thinks he gets to open presents every time it is someone's birthday. Luckily, he had a late Xmas present that he was able to open Sunday when we came home. It is 2 hockey (or soccer) goals. He knows you are suppose to put the ball in there for a goal but mostly uses them as a fort. For some reason, he thinks no one can see him in there so he really gets a kick out of it.

Emily 2 month check-up

That's right Emily is already 2 months old. She is really starting to smile and respond to us talking to her. She doesn't Coo yet but giggles a little.

She weighed in at 9lbs 14.5oz. The doc says she is not unhealthy just really scrawny. This is below the 25 percentile. Her height was in the 90 percentile at 23.75 inches so almost exactly 2ft. Her head size was in the 25 percentile so she is the opposite of her brother.

She keeps breaking out on her face and neck areas. Her eye has even swollen up a little some days. The doc says it is an allergy. What it is we aren't totally sure as of yet but suspect milk. Now Mommy has to go a week or two without any milk products to see if Emily's rash clears up. Miss Emily also is taking some medicine for her acid reflex. She has been spitting up a little so hopefully this will help her.

Besides all of that, she is healthy. She did receive a few vaccine shots so that was not fun.

And gorgeous Miss Emily inside showing off her new outfit from Aunt Beth.

Also, here are some pictures of Bo sledding at Marilyn and Mark's house out in Marthasville. There was a nice sunset as well.

After a long day of sledding, what beats a puzzle, especially a dinosaur puzzle.

I'm guilty

Here is a picture of Bo's famous I'm Guilty face.

This is the face he makes whenever is doing something that he knows he is not suppose to be doing. There are many examples of this such as climbing on top of the table. inserting and removing movies from the DVD player, climbing out of his crib, grabbing his own food like chips or cookies out of the cabinet, etc. etc.

Also, here is a picture of Miss Emily practicing tummy time.

Happy New Year's

For New Year's, the Cordia's organized one of their famous "staycations". This means you stay in a hotel to just hang out because the hotel is very close to your home.
Before we left for the hotel, Bo and Mommy went to the grocery store to gather supplies. (I guess that included donuts and chocolate candies M&Ms)

In the meantime, Emmy and Daddy stayed home to take down Christmas decorations. I am not sure what is going on with her hair.

Bo prepared to go swimming at the hotel. This was the first time he wore his water wings

Daddy & Bo enjoyed the hot tub since the regular pool was a little cool

Miss Emmy started smiling quite a bit this weekend and then of course slept a lot too.

Bo's favorite thing to do at the hotel was to go for a ride on the luggage cart. We must have gone around the hotel about 10 times the one day. He was making cho-cho sounds and yelling all aboard any time we past someone in the halls. This was a picture at the end so you can see he was not very happy that the cart stopped.

Merry Christmas

Well, Christmas Eve started off with some snow at the Woodworth house so Bo & Daddy decided to make a snowman while the girls stayed inside to bake.. It took a little while because Bo wanted to keep knocking over the "tower" that we were building with the snow. So here is Frosty in process.

And just Bo having fun

Here are a couple of pics of Miss Emily in her festive outfits.

Here is Bo & Daddy in their matching Christmas outfits

Mommy & Emily in their Christmas outfits. Aren't they Go-Go-Go-Gorgeous

Here is Bo eating his Christmas breakfast like a king...donuts of course

Bo unwrapping presents on his own in his new blue chair, his "movie" chair. He loved opening presents and not just his own, everyone's.

Here is Bo in his new secret hideout. I think he thinks no one can see him in there.
