Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas, it was a good Christmas for the Woodworth's and baby Woodster. First, Daddy finally bought Mommy a home. Thanks to Mommy's "negotiating" skills we were able to get the inspection resolved especially the sewer and bathroom drain. We both are very excited to finally have a home of our own. We close on 1/15, plumbing fixes hopefully we will be done on 1/16 so we can start moving in that Saturday the 17th. We will have plenty of time to have the house and your room ready by the time you come around. Mommy already gave me a gift for the new house, a adjustable outdoor basketball hoop. She says I better be ready for tough competition because she thinks you are going to be tough one to be on the court based on your first 16 weeks in the belly. Mommy received a digital video camera so we can record you when you are ready to peek your head out. I'm sure I'll spend a lot of time behind the camera.
You however took home a lot of loot. You got the Talking Elmo doll that you wanted, a stuffed Elelephat, teddy bear, and many new clothes. I think Santa knew that you didn't have any. Here is a picture of our favorite bib.

Graduate

I can't believe it but I am finally finished with school. It only took me 4 years (& 54 hours later) but I received my final grade last night so I officially have my MBA. I know Mommy is happy that I don't have to go to UMSL 2 nights a week after work. This should give me more time to spend with you and of course to help Mommy.
Don't worry Mom, I'll tell my boss so I can get a raise too.
I'm very excited and relieved that I don't have to go to class, do homework, and write papers anymore. I think I've put my time in. Actually, just in time for the stock market to crash. HA

15 weeks old

Tomorrow you will be 15 weeks old. Mommy started to look at colors for your room. We are still waiting to hear back about the inspection from the sellers but if that goes through then I'm sure Mommy will have it ready the next week.
You must have settled in b/c the past week Mommy has felt pretty good. No upset stomachs and some actual meals. I think the worst part is offer for her.
It iced/snowed last night so Mommy stayed home and babysat your niece and nephew. Hopefully the flat is not a mess when I get home. I asked mommy if she wanted to go see a movie. She might need some relaxation after watching "monster" all day.
I'll keep my fingers cross as we wait even longer for the sellers to respond to our inspection requests.

New House

Yeah, the contract was accepted and the house inspection went well.  The building inspector only found a few things that need to be fixed but nothing major or show stopping. However, Papa Steve came by and has a "love list" to go over and I know Mommy has a list of things that she wants to. Hopefully, we can get most of these done so we can close on 1/15 and move in on that weekend.

I am very excited and looking forward to making it our home. I know Mommy is too.

13 weeks old

We went to the doc again this week and we have your 13 week picture. It is really cool to see. You are even waving at us in the middle picture. We heard your heart beat too. It was about half as fast as last time. You were beating 150 beats/min. I think we heard you say let me out. I want to play.
I think that is what Mommy wants too but you both are going to have to wait a little longer. That will give us time to get your room ready in our new house.

Finally, new house

Well, we finally found our new home. Mommy and Daddy are very excited. It will be great for you. We still have a lot to do to get ready to pack, move, and unpack again but it will all be worth it. We don't close until beginning of January then Mommy can start to decorate your room. She will be so excited I know. I think it will do her a lot of good to prepare for you coming.

Oh yeah, it was also very neat to hear your heart beat earlier in the week. You are growing very fast. Soon enough you will be sleeping (and crying) in your new room.
