We made it to Florida (really Alabama)

I We made it to Florida as the kids say. Really it is Gulf Shores, Alabama. Emily wanted to make sure her Grammie say her standing next to a palm tree.
Since we can't check into the beach house until tomorrow we spent some time at the hotel pool.
Cooper had his first experience in the pool, very laid back baby
While we waited for dinner, Emily had a braid in her hair. Notice the new haircut too.
Bo did the rope climbing adventure. He was very proud of himself doing it by himself.
That's home at the very top which was like 3 stories high
Bo also did the water walk in the big ball.

Emily's hair cut short

The day before our trip to Gulf Shores Emily had her hair cut short. As you can see from the photo below she wasn't happy. When she looked in the mirror afterwards, she threw a fit and cried. She wanted her hair long like Tangled.

When daddy came home from work, i told her how beautiful her new haircut was. She immediately started crying and hid behind the couch.
Since then I think she is taking it a little better. She says it will grow back. However if you see her and compliment her hair then she will respond with "I hate it"

Ice cooler challenge

On Bo's birthday, it was nice out so we got the water slide out. The boys wanted to do the ice bucket challenge with the leftover ice water from the cooler. Here is the video

Happy 6 birthday Bo

Bo had a minecraft Lego party this year at the park.
They built a tower and tried to knock it down with the catapult.
He built a creeper.
Emmy even joined in building
Happy birthday little buddy.

Pool is open for the summer

Every year Bo stands against this sign to see if he can go down the big kid slides. Guess who is tall enough now. He was very excited.
Emmy was excited because she can touch now in the kids area.

Garden time

Working on our new garden. The kids planted pumpkins and squash this year plus daddy threw in a few jalapeƱos.

Family pics

Here are all the kids for Coopers first swing ride

Cooper 4 months, tummy time, and rice cereal

http://youtu.be/NO8zgJZaYPo
Cooper is 4 months old now. He has made some big strides in the last month.
We have been practicing tummy and holding our head up. This link is a video to him practicing it and puking up a little. Notice Emmy documenting his progress.

He also atarted eating rice cereal for dinner this week. It was a little messy but I think he took it really well. Of course the kids wanted to help too. Hopefully this will help him sleep longer at night as he is just having it for supper.

Of course, he is doing a lot of sleeping too. Mommy says so cute, her chunky monkey.

Gym spring performance

The kids had their spring performance at gym class. It was a beach theme. They showed us all the activities that they do. They received a medal at the very end so they were very excited.
Here is a video of them doing the trampoline.

Bo lost his 2nd tooth

This past weekend, Bo lost his second tooth. It had been loose for around two weeks. He pulled it out himself and then made a note on the baggie for the tooth ferry.
He was very excited at 6am when he woke up to $5 more dollars. He is really doing a good job saving his money...saving for an Xbox
