Cooper practicing Karate

Last night, we went to pick up Bo from Karate. They were running long and it was crowded outside so Cooper, Emily, and I were watching from the outside windows. Cooper decided to start practicing his moves against the cars since there was no one else to challenge him. We took a couple of videos.

Snow Day 11-15

Weds. night anticipating a big snow storm over night, the kids wore their jammies inside out as a superstition for not having school the next day.

They built a snowman that they called Chilly. There was a 2nd snowman but Cooper decided to climb on top of it.
Before it got dark, we went down the street to a couple of big hills and sledded down them. They loved it until everyone's hands and feet got cold.

Candy Challenge

I promised the kids that we could do a Candy Challenge with all the leftover Halloween candy. They all put a blindfold on. Bo couldn't find one so he just used a pillow case and Cooper of course copied him. Cooper spent most of the time peeking.

Visit to Mysuem (local children's museum)

They built an arch out of cushions.

Also, they built a house out of big legos that Cooper could fit in.

Homework/Quizes

The kids are starting to have some homework and quizzes on Friday. Emily's test was on the 7 continents and 5 oceans
Bo's quiz was on What is Government

Cooper's Halloween Party (10-29)

Cooper had a Halloween party at his school. They paraded around the gym and received candy from the parents, they decorated a pumpkin, and sang some Halloween songs. I put some links to his songs below.

Carving Pumpkins (10-28)

On Sunday we went to the pumpkin patch and each kiddo picked out their pumpkins. When we came home, they all carved their own. Cooper needed some help but they all did a great job and were very proud of their work.

Halloween costumes

The boys like to try on their costumes to get ready for Halloween. Should Cooper be a construction worker?

 Or Dash, an Incredible.
Bo is the Grim Reaper and he of course likes to wear it around the house to scare Cooper.

Kids get to attend KitKat's wedding

Cooper's old nanny was married last weekend and she very nice to invite the whole family. The kids were very excited to go to the wedding and dance. Her name was Katie but Cooper had trouble saying that so he always called her KitKat.

Here is a video of the kids dancing.

Happy 10 year anniversary

Mommy and Daddy escaped for a long weekend in Phoenix.

Cooper's first sleepover

Cooper wanted to have a sleepover with his buddy Bo. He said he was too little to stay at someone else's house so asked if it was ok to sleep with Bo. We stayed up late watching a movie so it didn't take long for them to fall asleep.

Top Golf

Bo and Daddy spent the afternoon at Top Golf. Someone was very excited.
