Bo's First Tee-Ball Practice

Today was Bo's first Tee Ball practice. He was very excited to go but wanted a bat like Will. Yes, Will is on his team too. We will probably have to have the coach separate them. Bo wore his hat, glove, and baseball shoes so he was ready.

The coach did a great job of coming organized and ready to go. He must be a teacher with his patience. First thing they did was go over the basics of home plate and the bases. They then did a relay with their gloves carrying a ball and going through cones. The boys were cheering each other on (Bo & Will were leading the cheers).

After that they went over to the wall and learned the proper way to throw/pitch the ball with aiming. They fielded some grounders, practicing form with two hands. Then it was time to run the bases.

Funny thing to note was Bo was adamant to call it baseball practice and it wasn't tee ball. Also, Bo & Will were the first ones there so before we hit a few off the tee to warm up, they wanted to scare all the birds off the field.
