Bo Soccer

Yes, that is right. We signed Bo up for soccer already. He was so excited. All he talks about is "my soccer game practice." It is more of an activity with some soccer theme to it but a lot of it is following directions and being active.

Each kid is out there with a parent and then the coach gives instructions. They usually start off with a warm-up like jumping jacks, stretches, and simple toe touches on the ball. Then they do a "race" across the indoor field followed by games of red light, green light. That is Bo's favorite. They do some dribbling and passing then of course shooting. The rest is random games that sometimes involve the ball.

Bo does become distracted at times especially there is a large bouncy houses next to the field that kids are playing. Generally about 10-15mins into it he wants to leave or go to the jumpy houses. He has gotten better each time but sometimes he just doesn't want to do what everyone else is doing. It is 8 sessions and I believe we have one week left.

Time for the big race

Playing silly games

Poor Emmy just has to stand outside and watch. She wants to play so badly but she also likes to walk up and down the glass with a snack in her hand. Here is a pic of her playing cho-chos at the Train Store where Bo had his party. She is starting to get into trains also but I think she prefers to play kitchen more at this point.
