Quarantine week 6 (04-25) - hair cuts, new bike, and indoor movie theatre

Haircuts for the boys. Bo didn't want a buzz cut so Mommy got out the scissors.

The other kids told him that it hurt so he was super nervous but he was good after a minute.

We have Peanut Butter's cage ready for the big day this week.

Bo's new bike as he outgrew his old one. It is an Adult medium mountain bike

It was a rainy weekend so we set-up the movie screen in the basement.

Quarantine week 5 (04-15) - butterflies

Puzzle number 2 was started. This one is of Alice and Wonderland.

Cooper had a caterpillar to butterfly kit. For some reason, he called the caterpillars "his Jimmys" as we watched them crawl around and move into a cocoon. Then they turned into butterflies that he released yesterday when it was nice out.

Quarantine Week 4 (04-07) - Making movies and yard work

The kids decided to make a movie this weekend so here is the trailer that they created.

Emily and Bo had a break-up over directing and editing rights to the movie so Emily decided to start her own. Here is here trailer

It was very nice out again so the kids decided to build Legos in the driveway...inspired by Lego Masters TV reality show.

At 7pm every night, the subdivision goes outside to make a lot of noise. The kids brought out the karaoke machine, Bo brought his Viola, and Cooper has a whistle.

Quarantine Week 3 (04-01) - puzzles and chalk

This week the kids decided to start a 1,000 piece puzzle of candy bar wrappers

After day 1, the border is complete.

After day 2, making progress.

Complete in 3 days

It was nice outside for a day so they created some chalk designs on the driveway.

Of course, Cooper wanted to do a puzzle too since Bo and Emily were doing it.

There was also an argument over the scooter and a crime was recorded on the security camera.

Quarantine Week 2 (03-26) - Home School means no naps

Cooper started learning his letters, numbers and shapes. If only playing Nintendo didn't get his way of learning.

Yes, Cooper did find time to play in the sprinkler however I think it was a little cold so he got the umbrella out.

Cooper has also been staying up late with the big kids. He loves home school because he doesn't have to take a nap. However, he falls asleep on the couch or floor almost every night. He is too stubborn to go to bed unless everyone does.

New Puppy "Peanut Butter" coming (03-26)

We decided to get a puppy. He is a Shihpoo and will be coming April 29th. The kids are counting down the days. At first he was going to be called "Cookie Dough" but now they are going with "Peanut Butter" for his nickname. He will grow to be about 13lbs.
