Easter 2011

Here is a photo of the Easter Egg hunt in Marthasville the weekend prior to Easter. Bo had a blast looking for eggs and eating candy of course.

The kids went to see the Easter Bunny. Bo told him that he wanted a cho-cho.

As you can see, he got his wish and more.

Emmy liked to grab for the easter eggs and chase them as they rolled away. That's correct she is "scooting" a little now. She doesn't really use her arms yet so it is more of a face dive with her legs pushing. Sometimes she rolls over and over and over across the room to get where she wants to go. She is definitely getting there.

The boys tried to dress like the Easter Bunny for their Easter Egg hunt.

Bo at Little Gym

This year Bo has been taking a gym class at a place called Little Gym. They start off the class with introduction, some warm-ups, and "running" which he loves.

He walked the balance beam

"Hanging" - hang and flip over the horizontal bar.

Do tumble rolls and donkey kicks

He also like the rings. He has really strong abs which Mommy is jealous of.

His favorite parts might be at the end where they play with the balls and blow bubbles, especially the bubbles on the belly.

Then at night, his Grammie gave him new Buzz jammies that he is very proud of to match his Buzz Lightyear tent bed.

Update on Emily. She is doing a lot better the past week. Last week, we took her back in because of the thrush and yeast in her mouth. It looked very painful especially near the cracks. They gave us this new medicine to "paint her mouth". They warned us that it was messy and stained. It looked an awful lot like ink. It did work after about 3 days and she was doing better.

This week we started giving her rice cereal in the morning and sweet potatoes at night. She still isn't doing great with them but is getting better each day. At least now, she doesn't clamp her mouth shut when she sees the spoon. I think the sores in her mouth were just really painful.
This picture below I call "Sleeping Beauty" or gorgeous. She is going to bed now around 8:30 and usually waking up only once around 2:30 for a 6oz. bottle then goes right back to sleep. She'll then wake up again around 7:30 or whenever Bo wakes her.
