Here is a picture of Bo hitting his "home run" at last week's game.
And running to first.
Here is Emmy dressed as a princess Cinderelly with cousin Kinley helping her.

Emmy singing "Not Ready to be a Princess"
Emmy's favorite show is the new Disney Junior show called Sophia the First about a young girl who has to learn to be a princess when her Mom marries the king. So her signature song is "Not ready to be a Princess". Both kids love it

Bo's First TeeBall game (opening day)
This Saturday was Bo's first tee ball game or as Mommy called it Opening Day. His team name is called the Angels. This is a picture of the boys gathering up before the game.
Someone got to play shortstop the first inning. This is the coach giving him his instructions to start the game. Most of the hits in play are fielded by the pitcher but there was one that made it out to Bo. He did pick it up with his glove and tag the guy on second base running to the third.
Bo was very excited at the beginning of the game to play baseball.
Daddy was helping in the field and someone was jealous. Emmy made a dash onto the field to get me so we had to carry her off.
Here is Bo's first hit.

Bo's First Tee-Ball Practice
Today was Bo's first Tee Ball practice. He was very excited to go but wanted a bat like Will. Yes, Will is on his team too. We will probably have to have the coach separate them. Bo wore his hat, glove, and baseball shoes so he was ready.
The coach did a great job of coming organized and ready to go. He must be a teacher with his patience. First thing they did was go over the basics of home plate and the bases. They then did a relay with their gloves carrying a ball and going through cones. The boys were cheering each other on (Bo & Will were leading the cheers).
After that they went over to the wall and learned the proper way to throw/pitch the ball with aiming. They fielded some grounders, practicing form with two hands. Then it was time to run the bases.

Funny thing to note was Bo was adamant to call it baseball practice and it wasn't tee ball. Also, Bo & Will were the first ones there so before we hit a few off the tee to warm up, they wanted to scare all the birds off the field.

Mommy plays teacher with the kids
The kids wanted to play teacher so who else to play teacher but Mommy. Emmy wanted to sing her song while Bo wanted to play share (show & tell).

Happy Easter
This Saturday we went to Emmy's school for an Easter Egg Hunt. She was very excited and picked out her own dress. She is a big girl now, you know. That is what she tells us
They had quite a few activities while we waited. Emmy wanted her face painted so one of the girls painted an egg on it. It didn't last on her face too long because she kept touching it because "it tickles". Then she had the paint on her fingers and freaked out a little so wiped it on her dress. Then she just wanted it off so we wiped it off.
Bo pretended to be the Easter Bunny.
This was after the egg hunt as the dug into their candy. I believe it is their happy dance.
Saturday night, the kids left their baskets out so the Easter Bunny could leave them candy and toys. Bo kept wanting to know how the Easter Bunny got into the house so Daddy told him that he let him in the door after the kids fell asleep. He was ok with that but wanted to know how long he would stay and where he went next.
I tried to get a picture of the kids in their Easter Sunday best but they were too hyped up on candy already and excited because their cousins were coming over. Bo was wearing a tie and when we put it on said look at me I'm going to work.
After 5secs of picture taking, it was time for Silly Faces.
Double Trouble
The picture with the Easter Bunny went really well. Emmy didn't cry at all but she wouldn't sit on his lap. She was ok to sit next to Bo as long as Bo was the buffer between them. She did give the Easter Bunny a five when we left. Bo of course told him what he wanted him to bring him like a sword, train, and candy lots of it.
